Reports do not render or return no data

Some of your reports either return no data (the pivot table is empty), or the report is rendered, but shows no data. This issue affects the following reports:

  • Buyer Browse to Purchase
  • Order Events
  • Shopping Basket Events
  • Buyer Visits

Solution

Make sure that the Profile, Transaction, and Web log Data Warehouse import tasks are running. These tasks control the process of importing the user and sales data into the Data Warehouse. If these tasks have not been run, or they have failed for some reason, the data necessary to build the Buyer Visits cube will not be present in the Data Warehouse and the Report preparation task will fail.
