Renaming an Analysis Model

When you rename an analysis model, verify that the Web site using the model is also updated and that no other site is using the model under the old name, or else the model will be inaccessible.

  • Your site may not be able to start if the site attempts to reload a model that no longer exists.

To rename an analysis model

  1. Expand Commerce Server Manager, expand Global Resources, expand Predictor on <server name>, expand Predictor Service, and then click Models.
  2. In the details screen, right-click the model you want to rename, and then click Rename.
  3. Type a new name for the model, and then press ENTER.
  4. In the <model name> renaming confirmation dialog box, click Yes to accept the changes.
