Step 5: Secure the Predictor Components

Following is an overview of the steps required to secure the Predictor components. It is critical that you perform these steps to ensure the security of your site.

• Secure the Predictor Service Account.
• Configure the Predictor resource connection strings using Windows Authentication.
• Secure the Predictor tables in the Data Warehouse database. Grant the appropriate permissions to the account that runs the Model Builder DTS task, and to Business Desk users.
• Secure the Predictor model deployed to the Web server.
• Grant permissions to use the Segment Viewer and Affinity Lists.
