CookieHandler.ReadCore Method

[Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework. When overridden in a derived class, reads a cookie.

Parameters

  • name
    Name for the cookie

Return Value

The cookie value, or null if the cookie was not found

Remarks

Called from the Read method to do the actual work of reading the cookie. The Read method will ensure that name is a non-empty string.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
