Explorer (Master Data Manager, Explorer)

Use Explorer to populate entities and edit hierarchies. You can also create collections, view metadata and validation issues, and reverse transactions.

With Explorer you can:

• Explore your model, its entities, members, and attributes.

• Add, edit, and delete members and their attributes.

• View and edit hierarchies.

• Define custom collections of members. Collections can contain hierarchies and other collections.

• Apply business rules to members.

• Review validation issues that occur when you validate data against business rules.

• Review transactions that are recorded when entities, members, and attribute values change.

• Reverse transactions that you want to undo.
