Parameter members

Represents the in, in-out, out, and return parameters of each method.

The Parameter type exposes the following members.

	Name	Description
	DefaultDisplayName	Gets or sets the default display name. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	Direction	Gets or sets the direction of the parameter (In, Out, InOut, Return).
	Id	Gets the identifier of the MetadataObject object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	IsCached	Indicates whether the object is cached. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	LocalizedDisplayName	Gets or sets the localized display name. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	LocalizedDisplayNames	Gets the collection of localized display names. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	Method	Gets the method the parameter belongs to.
	Name	Gets or sets the name of the object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	OrdinalNumber	Sets or gets the ordinal number of the parameter in the method signature.
	Properties	Gets the property collection of the object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	RootTypeDescriptor	Gets the top-level (root) type descriptor for the parameter.

	IsReturnParameter	Gets a Boolean value indicating whether the parameter is a return parameter.
	MergeXml	Reads the Parameter definition from the specified resource XML for the specified method, and then merges its properties, localized names, and access control entries with the existing Parameter in the metadata store.
	Read	Reads a Parameter object from the Business Data Connectivity (BDC) service. (Overrides MetadataObject.Read().)
	ReadCommon	This member is reserved for internal use and is not intended to be used directly from your code. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	ReadXml	Reads the Parameter definition from the specified metadata XML for the specified method.
