This document specifies the Quality Windows Audio/Video Experience (qWave): Layer 3 Probing Protocol, which an application or higher-layer protocol can use to evaluate the link bandwidth and quality.

Sections 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, 2, and 3 of this specification are normative. All other sections and examples in this specification are informative.
