This message retrieves the position of a tick mark in a trackbar.

Retrieves the logical position of a tick mark in a trackbar. The logical position can be any of the integer values in the trackbar's range of minimum to maximum slider positions.

Syntax

TBM_GETTIC wParam = (WPARAM)(WORD) iTic; 
    lParam = 0;

Parameters

  • iTic
    Zero-based index that identifies a tick mark. Valid indexes are in the range from zero to two less than the tick count returned by the TBM_GETNUMTICS message.
  • lParam
    Not used.

Return Value

The logical position of the specified tick mark indicates success. -1 indicates that iTic does not specify a valid index.
