RIL_SetAudioDevices (Compact 2013)

3/26/2014

This function is implemented by a Radio Interface Layer (RIL) driver. It can set devices used for transmitting and receiving audio signals to and from a radio.

Syntax

HRESULT RIL_SetAudioDevices(
  HRIL hRil,
  const RILAUDIODEVICEINFO* lpAudioDeviceInfo
);

Parameters

  • lpAudioDeviceInfo
    Pointer to a RILAUDIODEVICEINFO structure that defines the audio devices to set.

Return Value

Positive HRESULT values indicate success and are used as command identifications for matching the asynchronous call result. Negative HRESULT values indicate an error. Errors are defined in the Ril.h file.

The asynchronous result RIL_RESULT_OK indicates success. The lpData notification parameter is set to NULL.

Remarks

This function is called during the setup and teardown of voice calls. If multiple audio devices are not supported by the radio, it is acceptable for this function to return RIL_RESULT_OK asynchronously.

The RIL proxy translates the RIL_SetAudioDevices function into IOCTL_RIL_SetAudioDevices when the RIL proxy calls RIL_IOControl.
