This function changes a locking password.

Syntax

HRESULT SimChangeLockingPassword (
  HSIM hSim,
  DWORD dwLockingFacility,
  LPTSTR lpszOldPassword,
  LPTSTR lpszNewPassword
);

Parameters

hSim
Points to a valid HSIM handle.

dwLockingFacility
A SIM Manager Lock Facility Constants value specifying which locking facility to use.

lpszOldPassword
Pointer to the old password.

lpszNewPassword
A pointer to the new password, which is limited to MAXLENGTH_PASSWORD chars, and not less than the number of characters in the SIMLOCKINGPWDLENGTHdwPasswordLength parameter for the dwLockingFacility.

Return Value

HRESULT is S_OK for success, or one of the SIM_E error constants defined in the SIM Manager Error Constants table.
