This function sets the Bluetooth mode of operation, such as off, connectable, and discoverable.

Syntax

int BthSetMode(
  DWORD dwMode
);

Parameters

  • dwMode
    [in] Mode of operation of the Bluetooth radio.

Return Value

The following table shows the possible return values.

Value

Description

ERROR_SUCCESS

Success.

ERROR_TIMEOUT

The Host Controller Interface (HCI) command timed out.

Remarks

The possible values to pass in this function are defined in the BTH_RADIO_MODE enumeration. Use the BthGetMode function to retrieve the current mode of operation.
