Internet Explorer Embedded Browser Control Host (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

The Microsoft® Internet Explorer browser control host (SHDOCVW) exposes the WebBrowser control to application programmers. The WebBrowser control provides navigation, in-place linking, and management of favorites and history to Internet browsers. The control also exposes interfaces to allow it to be hosted separately as a Microsoft ActiveX® control. Note, however, that the Windows Embedded CE implementation of the WebBrowser control does not include a design-time control. This means that you need to implement the control manually through the Component Object Model (COM) interfaces.
