WriteGenericData (Compact 2013)

This function is used to write OS password data.

Syntax

BOOL WriteGenericData(
  WORD dwId, 
  DWORD dwIndex, 
  DWORD dwFlags, 
  LPBYTE pBuf,
  DWORD dwLength,
);

Parameters

• dwId
  Type of data to be written. Currently, only OEM_DATATYPE_PASSWORD is supported.

• dwIndex
  Byte offset to write the data.

• dwFlags
  Unsupported. Set to zero.

• pBuf
  Data to be written.

• dwLength
  Length of data to be written.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.
