IContact::get_CompanyName (Compact 7)

The CompanyName property gets or sets the company name for the contact.

To get the value of the CompanyName property, call the property method described here.

To set the value of the CompanyName property, see the IContact::put_CompanyName property method.

Syntax

HRESULT get_CompanyName(
   BSTR * ppwsz
);

Parameters

  • ppwsz
    [out] Reference to the company name. For information on the BSTR type, see BSTR.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

  • S_OK
    The method completed successfully.

Remarks

Maximum length is 255 characters per company name.
