This page enables you to view and modify the root directory. By default, Platform Builder builds using the root directory that was specified when Compact 2013 was installed (typically C:\WINCE800).
Override
Select this check box to have Platform Builder build using a root directory other than the installation one. Platform Builder displays the current root directory and allows you to overwrite it with a different one.Note
In a tools-only installation of Platform Builder, there is no root directory set, and this field is unavailable.
