Exporting a Catalog Item from the Catalog (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

In Windows Embedded CE 6.0, you can choose to export a Catalog item that you have created from the Catalog third parties to use. For example, if you have created a board support package (BSP) that you want to share with other developers, you can choose to package the BSP for export.

For information about adding the exported Catalog item to the Catalog, see Adding a Catalog Item to the Catalog.

To accomplish this, you must perform the following steps.

Exporting a Catalog Item from the Catalog

  1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the location where your Catalog item (.pbcxml) file is located.

  2. Copy the .pbcxml file and all related source code files into a new folder, and then create a compressed file for export.
