Removing a Catalog Item from an OS Design (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

After you create an OS design, you can modify it by selecting and removing Catalog items.

To remove a Catalog item

  1. In the Catalog Items View, clear the check box for the Catalog item that you want to remove.

  2. If the Catalog item is still brought in by dependency, continue by performing the following steps.

  3. From the context menu, select Reasons for Inclusion, and then follow the directions in the Reasons for Inclusion dialog box.

  4. To remove the Catalog item, clear the check box again.

This will be successful only after you have completed all the directions provided in the Reasons for Inclusion dialog box.

After you successfully remove the selected Catalog item, the list of Catalog items displayed in the Catalog Items View updates.
