ICcKitl (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/5/2010

This interface provides access to the core methods and properties for the Kernel Independent Transport Layer (KITL) interface.

Core Connectivity requires a custom KITL transport to implement the ICcKitl, ICcService, and ICcTransport.

Methods

The following tables show the methods for this interface. The interface inherits the methods for the IUnknown and IDispatch interfaces.

The following table shows the methods for the IDispatch interface.

Method Description

IDispatch::GetIDsOfNames

Maps a single member name and an optional set of parameter names to a corresponding set of integer dispatch identifiers (DISPIDs).

These identifiers can then be used on subsequent calls to IDispatch::Invoke.

IDispatch::GetTypeInfo

Retrieves the type information for an object.

IDispatch::GetTypeInfoCount

Retrieves the number of type information interfaces provided by an object, either zero (0) or 1.

IDispatch::Invoke

Provides access to properties and methods exposed by an object.

The following table shows the methods of the ICcKitl interface.

Method Description

ICcKitl::DebugBreak

Sends a kernel debug break command to a device.

ICcKitl::Reset

Sends a soft-reset command to a device.

ICcKitl::BootFlags

Sets or gets the boot flags that determine:

  • Which KITL services to start on boot-up
  • Whether to start an image boot with clean memory or with the existing configuration

ICcKitl::TransportId

Gets the transport ID.
