Kernel Debugger Services (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/5/2010

Platform Builder kernel debugging depends on two connectivity services, the eXDI service and the OsAxs service. When enabled, the kernel debugger runs independently as a connectivity service.

For more information, see Enabling Kernel Debugger Support.

You can use the eXDI and OsAxs kernel debugger services to debug an application or to debug a run-time image on a target device. You can also extend the built-in debugging capacities of Platform Builder to support using a third-party hardware probe to enhance the debugging information available to you.

For more information about how the eXDI service and the OsAxs service work with Platform Builder, see eXDI Architecture.
