Downloading the Boot Loader to the Voice over IP PXA270 Development Platform (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/5/2010

The default boot loader on the Voice over IP PXA270 Development Platform must be updated to a Windows Embedded CE boot loader. To download and install the initial Windows Embedded CE boot loader, or to restore a corrupted boot loader, please contact the OEM manufacturer for tools and instructions.

After the initial Windows Embedded CE boot loader is installed, you can download updates to the Voice over IP PXA270 Development Platform using Platform Builder.

To see the format of the Windows Embedded CE boot loader message, see Windows Embedded CE Boot Loader Output for the Voice Over IP PXA270 Development Platform.

Make a note of the "Device Name" in the Windows Embedded CE boot loader output. This is useful when verifying that Platform Builder is connecting to the correct device.
