Adding video

Expression Studio 4.0

You can insert videos (*.asf, *.wm, *wma, *wmv, *.wmd, and others) into a web page in Microsoft Expression Web by using either the Toolbox panel or the Insert menu.

You can also insert these and other types of media by typing code in the Code view of the web page.

For information about the current web standards for adding media files to web pages, see the W3C specification for Objects, Images, and Applets Ee371287.xtlink_newWindow(en-us,Expression.40).png.

When you open a web page that contains other media types, you may receive a warning that the page contains an unknown or unsigned ActiveX control. For more information, see Security and ActiveX controls.
