Set.partition<'T> Function (F#)

Splits the set into two sets containing the elements for which the given predicate returns true and false respectively.

Parameters

  • predicate
    Type: 'T -> bool

    The function to test set elements.

  • set
    Type: Set<'T>

    The input set.

Return Value

A pair of sets. The first contains the elements for which predicate returns true and the second contains the elements for which predicate returns false.

Remarks

This function is named Partition in compiled assemblies. If you are accessing the function from a language other than F#, or through reflection, use this name.
