Copy, paste, or move an effect
Because the new effects of Microsoft Expression Blend appear in the Objects and Timeline panel underneath the object to which they are applied, you can manipulate them in the same way that you can manipulate objects.
Note
The procedures in this topic cannot be used with the bitmap effects that were available in earlier versions of Expression Blend. Bitmap effects do not appear in the Objects and Timeline panel. For more information, see Modify previously existing bitmap effects.
To copy and paste an effect
To copy the effect, do one of the following:
Select the effect under Objects and Timeline, and then press CTRL+C.
Right-click the effect under Objects and Timeline, and then click Copy.
Select the effect under Objects and Timeline, and then, on the Edit menu, click Copy.
To paste the effect, do one of the following:
Select the object to which you want to apply the effect under Objects and Timeline, and then press CTRL+V.
Right-click the object to which you want to apply the effect under Objects and Timeline, and then click Paste.
Select the object to which you want to apply the effect under Objects and Timeline, and then, on the Edit menu, click Paste.
If an effect is already applied to the destination object, the pasted effect will replace it. For information about applying more than one effect to an object, see Apply, modify, or delete an effect.
To move an effect
Under Objects and Timeline, drag the effect to the new object to which you want to apply it.
If an effect is already applied to the destination object, the moved effect will replace it.
