Installing Enterprise Single Sign-On

The following sections contain information regarding installation of the Enterprise Single Sign-On feature. Because of this feature’s complex relationships to other features and systems, and because of its importance to system security, you should read this section carefully before installing Enterprise Single Sign-On.

  • Important  To avoid total loss of your existing host security credential database, you must perform the migration procedure in Upgrading from Host Integration Server 2000 or SNA Server 4.0. Running the migration utility before installation is the only way to safely import host security domains and user mappings from your existing HIS or SNA Server primary domain controller. Installing Single Sign-On without performing this migration will permanently destroy all existing host security data.
