The Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server queries the Microsoft Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) class, Win32_ComputerSystem, to determine the value of the Model key for the computer.
An information message appears if the value contains the string "Virtual Machine." This string indicates that the computer is running inside another computer that is running Microsoft Virtual PC.
