The Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server checks the version of Team Foundation Server that is installed on the application-tier server. An error appears if the version does not match a version that that the Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server supports.

Note

The current release of the Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server supports only the Beta 2 version of Team Foundation Server 2010.

To correct this error, in Application-tier server for Team Foundation, specify a server that is running the Beta 2 version for Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010.
