The Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server checks the available disk space, physical memory, and processor type and speed of the computers that you specified for the scan. A warning appears if the tool detects one of the following conditions:

  • Available disk space does not meet recommendations

  • Physical memory does not meet recommendations

  • Processor type and speed do not meet recommendations

To resolve these issues, check the hardware components of the computer where you want to install or have installed Team Foundation Server. Be sure that the computer meets the minimum system requirements defined for the Team Foundation software that you want to install or have installed.
