2.2.2.26 DayOfWeek

The DayOfWeek element is an optional child element of the Recurrence element (section 2.2.2.60) that specifies the day of the week on which this meeting recurs. It is defined as an element in the Email namespace.

The value of this element is an integer data type, as specified in [MS-ASDTYPE] section 2.6.

This element is required when the Type element (section 2.2.2.80)  is set to a value of 1 (that is, the meeting recurs weekly), or a value of 6 (that is, the meeting recurs yearly on the Nth day of the week of the Nth month each year).

The value of this element MUST be the sum of a minimum of one and a maximum of seven independent values from the following table.

These values can be added together to specify that the meeting occurs on more than one day of the week.

Protocol Versions

The following table specifies the protocol versions that support this element. The client indicates the protocol version being used by setting either the MS-ASProtocolVersion header, as specified in [MS-ASHTTP] section 2.2.1.1.2.6, or the Protocol version field, as specified in [MS-ASHTTP] section 2.2.1.1.1.1, in the request.
