ID3D12CommandList::SetComputeRootConstantBufferViewSingleUse method

Sets a single-use constant-buffer-view in the compute root signature.

void SetComputeRootConstantBufferViewSingleUse(
  [in]            UINT RootParameterIndex,
  [in, optional]  ID3D12Resource *pBuffer,
  [in]            const D3D12_CONSTANT_BUFFER_VIEW_DESC *pDesc
);

Parameters

RootParameterIndex [in]

Type: UINT

The slot number for binding.

pBuffer [in, optional]

Type: ID3D12Resource*

A pointer to the ID3D12Resource interface that represents the constant buffer to set.

pDesc [in]

Type: const D3D12_CONSTANT_BUFFER_VIEW_DESC*

A pointer to a D3D12_CONSTANT_BUFFER_VIEW_DESC structure that describes the constant-buffer-view to set in the root signature.

Return value

Returns nothing.
