Azure Resource Manager REST API Reference

Updated: November 9, 2015

Use these APIs to manage resources through the Azure Resource Manager. All task operations conform to the HTTP/1.1 protocol specification and each operation returns an x-ms-request-id header that can be used to obtain information about the request. You must make sure that requests made to these resources are secure. For more information, see Authenticating Azure Resource Manager requests.

For more information about Azure Resource Manager, see Azure Resource Manager Overview.

Azure Resource Manager supports cross-origin resource sharing (CORS). With CORS, you can call the Resource Manager REST API or an Azure service REST API from a web application that resides in a different domain. Without CORS support, the web browser would prevent an app in one domain from accessing resources in another domain. Resource Manager enables CORS for all requests with valid authentication credentials. See the CORS specification for details on CORS.
