Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail Server [AX 2012]

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 includes a new component that provides services and business logic for Modern Point of Sale (POS) clients. This new component is called Retail Server.

You can deploy Retail Server in a store or in a centralized environment such as a data center. Retail Server requires a software component of AX 2012 R3 called Hardware Station.
