AppBar.closedDisplayMode property

Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Gets or sets how the AppBar is displayed while hidden.

Syntax

appBar.closedDisplayMode = closedDisplayMode;

Property value

Type: string

One of the following values:

ValueCondition
"none"

The AppBar is not initially displayed.

"minimal"

The AppBar is displayed with ellipsis only, no icons or labels.

AppBar in minimal closedDisplayMode
"compact"

The AppBar is displayed with command icons only, no labels. This is the default value.

AppBar in compact closedDisplayMode
"full"

The AppBar resizes to display all icons and labels.

AppBar in full closedDisplayMode
