Form 941 preparation report (PayrollEmplQuarterFedTax) [AX 2012]

Form 941 is used by employers to report payroll taxes to the IRS. The report must be filed at the end of each quarter. The Form 941 preparation report in Microsoft Dynamics AX provides information to help you prepare the required tax form.

When you generate this report, the following default parameters are displayed. You can use these parameters to filter the data that will be displayed on the report. For more information, see Filter the data on a report.

| Tax year | The tax year for the Form 941 that you are completing. |
| Quarter | The tax quarter for the Form 941 that you are completing. |

If you are a developer, you can learn more about where the data on a report comes from by using the following procedure.

Open the AOT.

Locate the report in the SSRS Reports\Reports node.

Right-click the report and click Add-Ins > Cross-reference > Using (instant view).
