ImmutableSortedDictionary<TKey, TValue>.IImmutableDictionary<TKey, TValue>.Add Method

Adds an element with the specified key and value to the immutable dictionary.

Namespace:  System.Collections.Immutable
Assembly:  System.Collections.Immutable (in System.Collections.Immutable.dll)

IImmutableDictionary<TKey, TValue> IImmutableDictionary<TKey, TValue>.Add(
	TKey key,
	TValue value
)

Parameters

key
Type: TKey

The key of the element to add.

value
Type: TValue

The value of the element to add.

Return Value

Type: System.Collections.Immutable.IImmutableDictionary<TKey, TValue>
A new immutable dictionary that contains the additional key/value pair.

Implements

IImmutableDictionary<TKey, TValue>.Add(TKey, TValue)

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the ImmutableSortedDictionary<TKey, TValue> instance is cast to an IImmutableDictionary<TKey, TValue> interface.
