Microsoft Lync Server 2013 SIP Application API applications can be built using the following hardware components:

  • Any computers that are running Windows 7, 64-bit edition.

  • Any computers that are running Windows Server 2008 R2, 64-bit edition.

Running Lync Server 2013 SIP Application API applications require the following Windows computer:

  • Any computers that are running Windows Server 2008 R2, 64-bit edition.

Building and running a Lync Server 2013 SIP Application API application requires the following software components:

  • Microsoft Lync Server 2013.

  • Managed code applications require the Lync Server 2013 SIP Application API ServerAgent.dll.

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system.

  • Active Directory Domain Services.

The managed sample code and applications in this SDK use the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development system. By default, it should be installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0 directory on a 64-bit Windows computer.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 can be used to develop Lync Server 2013 SIP Application API applications.
