OcrControl.CaptureLanguage Property

Deprecated. This property specifies the language of the text on an image captured by The Bing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Control as a two-letter language code. When the Bing OCR Service receives a captured image, it looks for text in this language. If the text language is not specified, the property will default to “en”.

To get the current list of supported languages, use the OcrControl.GetLanguagesAsync() Method.

public string CaptureLanguage { get; set }
<Ocr:OcrControl CaptureLanguage="ES" .../>

Type: System.String

The two-letter language code of the specified language.

It is a good idea to provide users with a way to set the CaptureLanguage property so they can use OCR on multiple language sources. For more information, see How to: Set the text language for Windows Runtime OCR.
