KeyCredential

This topic provides descriptions of the properties of the KeyCredential complex type. The KeyCredential type contains a key credential associated with an application or a service principal.

Namespace: Microsoft.DirectoryServices for version 1.5 and newer, Microsoft.WindowsAzure.ActiveDirectory for versions prior to 1.5.

The KeyCredential complex type has the following properties:

Edm.DateTime

The date and time at which the credential expires.

keyId

Edm.Guid

The unique identifier (GUID) for the key.

startDate

Edm.DateTime

The date and time at which the credential becomes valid.

type

Edm.String

The type of key credential; for example, “Symmetric”.

usage

Edm.String

A string that describes the purpose for which the key can be used; for example, “Verify”.

value

Edm.String

The keyCredentials property of the Application and ServicePrincipal entities is a collection of KeyCredential.
