/NOASSEMBLY (Create a MSIL Module)


The /NOASSEMBLY option tells the linker to create an image for the current output file without a .NET Framework assembly.

By default, an assembly is created. The /clr compiler option can also specify not to create an assembly.

  1. Open the project's Property Pages dialog box. For details, see Setting Visual C++ Project Properties.
  2. Click the Linker folder.
  3. Click the Advanced property page.
  4. Modify the Turn Off Assembly Generation property.
