DynamicDataExtensions.TryGetMetaTable Method (INamingContainer, MetaTable%)

Determines whether table metadata is available.

Type: System.Web.UI.INamingContainer
The INamingContainer object that contains the table.
Type: System.Web.DynamicData.MetaTable%
When this method returns, contains the table metadata. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if table metadata is available; otherwise, false.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type INamingContainer. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
