ICompactServer::CreateUrlGroup method

Creates a URL group.

Syntax

HRESULT CreateUrlGroup(
  [in]   LPWSTR nameSpace,
  [out]  ICompactServerUrlGroup **UrlGroup
);

Parameters

nameSpace [in]

Specifies the URL prefix string. The URL prefix namespace is added to the URL group by calling the HttpAddUrlToUrlGroup function.

UrlGroup [out]

Specifies the URL group object. This object is returned after a successful call to the HttpCreateUrlGroup function.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

The Compact Server service allows only one level of virtual directory. For example, a user can create the URL prefix http://+:80/url1 but cannot create http://+:80/url1/myUrl. For more information about URL prefixes, see UrlPrefix Strings.
