Searching for a Knowledge Base Article

Published knowledge base articles can be searched in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You can build queries to find articles by searching titles, text in the articles, or keywords. You can also search for the articles in a specific category or for articles based on a specific knowledge base template.

Note    In Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web applications, you can search for a knowledge base article in two locations:

  • In Service area by clicking Knowledge Base in the left navigation pane, and selecting the search type.
  • In Workplace area by clicking Articles in the left navigation pane.
