Manually Installing SharePoint Products for Team Foundation Server

Visual Studio 2010

Although you can install Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 during Visual Studio Team Foundation Server installation, you can manually install Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, or Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. You might want to do this to have SharePoint Products on a separate server from Team Foundation Server or so that you can use Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or SharePoint Server 2010 instead of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 for your portal.

How to: Manually Install SharePoint Products on Windows Server for Team Foundation Server.

Provides steps for how to install SharePoint Products so that it meets the portal recommendations for Team Foundation Server. You should follow this procedure only if you are installing SharePoint Products on a computer other than Team Foundation Server or you want to use Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or SharePoint Server 2010.

How to: Configure Settings for Dashboard Compatibility

Provides information about how to configure the Enterprise edition of either Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 so that dashboard functionality works after you install Team Foundation Server. These configurations are necessary only for the Enterprise edition of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or SharePoint Server 2010. No other SharePoint Products require special configuration for dashboard compatibility.
