WriteSecurity Element

SharePoint Team Services 1.1

The WriteSecurity element is used in the SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft wire protocol in order to tell the Microsoft FrontPage client how the write permission for a list is configured.

</WriteSecurity>

Remarks

The WriteSecurity element can contain the following values:

1 Write all items.

2 Write only my items.

4 Write no items (read-only list).

Example

As an example, when FrontPage receives the metadata for a list, it might look like the following:
