ReadSecurity Property

The ReadSecurity property of the SPList class gets or sets the Read security setting for the list.

Property Value

A 32-bit integer that indicates the Read security setting. Possible values include the following:

  • 1 - All users have Read access to all items.
  • 2 - Users have Read access only to items that they create.
