Parameters

htmlHelper
Type: System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper

The HTML helper instance that this method extends.

linkText
Type: System.String

The inner text of the anchor element.

routeName
Type: System.String

The name of the route that is used to return a virtual path.

routeValues
Type: System.Object

An object that contains the parameters for a route. The parameters are retrieved through reflection by examining the properties of the object. The object is typically created by using object initializer syntax.

An anchor element (a element).

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HtmlHelper. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
