Add Method of the IFPCPublicNames Interface

The Add method adds a public name to the collection. Public names can be DNS names and IP addresses that are resolved to the internal address of a Web server through a Web publishing rule.

Syntax

HRESULT Add(
  [in]  BSTR Name
);

Parameters

• Name
  BSTR that specifies the public name.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Visual Basic

Syntax

Sub Add( _
  ByVal Name As String _
)

Parameters

• Name
  String that specifies the public name.

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
