1.5 Prerequisites/Preconditions

  • Article

  • A higher-layer application using the protocol has to have the Content Information data structure (see [MS-PCCRC] section 2.3) for the block ranges and segments that it is retrieving from the server. The Content Information contains all the relevant information necessary for discovering and verifying the content blocks.

  • The client has to identify and use the encryption algorithm and key used by the server to encrypt the content.
