3.4.4.2.3.1.7 ActiveDirectoryDomain/DomainSID

The DomainSID element contains the SID of the domain, encoded in base-64 binary format.

<xs:element name="DomainSID" nillable="true" type="xs:base64Binary" />

The DomainSID element is populated from the domainDNS!objectSID attribute on the domain NC root object ([MS-ADTS] section 6.1.1.1.4). If the domainDNS!objectSID attribute is not present or cannot be read due to the client lacking access rights to read the attribute, the server returns a null ActiveDirectoryDomain/DomainSID element.
