The PCCR Discovery Protocol uses the Web Services Dynamic Discovery (WS-Discovery) Protocol [WS-Discovery], and the actual transport protocol is abstracted by WSD. The PCCR Discovery Protocol simply uses WSD with certain elements set to custom values and relies on WSD for the actual transport of the Receive Probe (section 3.2.4.1) and Receive ProbeMatch (section 3.1.4.1) messages.<1>
