Tutorials (Report Builder)

Use the following Report Builder tutorials to learn how to create basic reports.

Prerequisites for Tutorials (Report Builder)

To use these tutorials, you must have read-only access to a SQL Server 2016 database and permissions to access a SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services (SSRS) report server.

For help with these prerequisites, contact your report server administrator.

Alternative Ways to Get a Data Connection (Report Builder)

Most of these tutorials use embedded data sources. If you have access to shared data sources you can use them instead. This topic provides the steps for using shared data sources.
